I have been put on Trileptal. Is it OK to still take my klonopin also is it safe to use Flonase for my allergies?

Answer

There is no reported drug interaction between Klonopin (clonazepam) and Trileptal (Oxcarbazepine). Having said that, both drugs can cause sedation so caution is advised, especially when you first start the combination. I wouldn't recommend driving or doing activities that requires strong attention until you know how the combination affects you.

In regards to Flonase (fluticasone), that is also fine to take with this combination of medications. There are no drug interactions.
