Interactions among herbal medications is always difficult to be completely sure of since the vast majority of herbal supplements have not been thoroughly tested for interactions. Having said that, there is no literature stating an interaction between the two products so we can at least say there is no documented interaction.

We would like to give you a little information on your herbal product since we know how tough it can be to find good information!

Garcinia cambogia is a fruit that is native to India and Southeast Asia and is high in a compound known as Hydroxycitric acid. This is the compound that is thought to induce weight loss. In fact, it has been reported to reduce appetite and inhibit the production of fat in the body. Multiple scientific studies have in fact shown that patients taking this herbal medication achieved significantly greater weight loss than those who took a placebo. It has also been shown to be quite well tolerated with only mild nausea and chest pain having occurred in scientific studies.

The currently listed drug interactions for Garcinia cambogia are with medications that lower cholesterol and medications that act as blood thinners. Alli is neither.

You can feel pretty confident that there is no interaction between the two medications. Remember to stay healthy while dieting! Since both medications reduce either the absorption or production of fat, it’s good to remember that small amounts of healthy fats (unsaturated fats for example) are essential for good health.
